Secondary Combination DANCE
CLASS DESCRIPTIONS AGE 7-18

Cardinals A: For children age 7 and 8. Ballet, jazz, lyrical, and modern combination class. Each class will begin with a short ballet barre followed by across the floor and center floor exercises. Technique will be introduced in an age and developmentally appropriate way. This class meets once a week and prepares two (2) dances for the end of year recital. Duration: 60 mins
Cardinals B: For children age 7 and 8. This is a continuation of Cardinals A. Basic ballet, jazz, and lyrical technique will be continued and more complex technique will be introduced. Teacher approval is required to join this class. This class meets once a week and prepares two (2) dances for the end of year recital. Duration: 60 mins
Ravens A: For children age 9-11. This is a beginner level class focusing on proper ballet and jazz technique. Basic technique will be introduced through Barre, center, and across the floor work. This class will prepare two (2) dances for the recital.
Ravens B: For children age 9-11. This is a continuation of Ravens A for intermediate beginners. More complex technique will be introduced in ballet and jazz. Teacher approval is required to join class. This class will prepare two (2) dances for the recital.
Falcons A: For children 12+. This is an intermediate level combo class focused on proper ballet, jazz, and lyrical technique. Teacher approval is required to join class. This class meets once a week and prepares two (2) dances for the recital.
Falcons B: For children age 13+. This is an intermediate/advanced combo class that focuses on complex technique in ballet, jazz, and modern. Teacher approval required. This class meets once a week and prepares two (2) dances for the end of year recital.
Eagles A: For teens age 13+. This is a beginner level class focused on basic ballet and jazz technique. This class meets once a week and prepares two (2) dances for the end of year recital. Duration: 60 mins
